Seacoast Celtic Music Concerts
Experience the culture of Nova Scotia through local music, food, drink and most importantly, fun. Along with our set music event schedule below, on request, a traditional musical kitchen party can be arranaged for groups or motor coach tours. Seacoast Celtic Music events are held at the Petpeswick Yacht Club in Musquodoboit Harbour (35 minutes from Halifax) on the selected Saturday Nights below. Foodservice begins at 7:00 and the music starts at 7:30. The entertainment is provided by The Odd Couples Band and other special guests. Weekend getaway and daytrip packages available including accommodations, meals and other amenities if desired. Festival Name: Louisbourg Race Through Time Description: The 8th Annual 8 mile road race will start at 6:30pm in the community of Louisbourg and will include an historic and picturesque route through the Fortress of Louisbourg. Pre-registration deadline: Monday, August 12th, 2002 - after this date an additional late fee of $10.00 will apply. Application Forms can be obtained from the CBRM Recreation Department in Louisbourg. Note: forms will not be available until the new year. Registration fees: $15.00 for non Run N.S. Crab Festival ( No Known Website) Description: This annual Crab Festival takes place on the waterfront in the scenic community of Louisbourg, Cape Breton. In 2002 we will be celebrating our 10th anniversary and we invite you to join us and take part in the special festivities being planned.
