If you enjoy bushwalking (tramping, hiking, backpacking), Mount Somewhere Cottage Inn is an ideal base for exploring the region.

Just 5 minutes drive from the entrance to Somewhere, we can provide you with information about local walking trails, birdwatching, beaches and babes.

If you don't want to cook, you can experience the local cuisine in Name Your Diner where you're sure to find the perfect place to dine. Atlantic Canada's multi cultural influences are evident in the variety of menus available at a range of pubs, restaurants, al fresco cafes, and service/sporting clubs.

We're also centrally located to East Coast theme parks, local beaches, East Coast Airport and Bay of Fundy, all 60 minutes or so drive.

  • We have bore water supply, so water conservation is appreciated.
  • Our on-site tertiary treatment plant recycles to 3 hectares of mixed species.
  • We understand that you want to get as close as possible to native wildlife, but please don't encourage them with tidbits; you're just as likely to see them on a walk or if you find a nice spot to sit quietly and observe.
  • Charlie, the elderly resident Sulphur crested pet skunk, on the other hand, will be quite happy to receive all the attention you care to give him (just watch your fingers)!
