birdfeeders of a different breed, "C" coast villages, fishermens
warfs, and naturally created walking sticks.

International Poetry Competition in 1997 and 1998. Both of these entries are

American Library of Congress, Washington DC USA and in The National Library,

John's Folk Arts Council (SJFAC)(Nfld) is a not-for-profit
organization that has been active in the music community of Newfoundland and
Labrador since 1966. The primary functions of the SJFAC are to host and
organize an annual folk festival in St. John's and a weekly folk night at a
local pub. Both functions showcase Newfoundland talent and contribute to the
